Peter Russell

Peter Russell is a scientist and a scholar of the of the mind and spirit. He is a fellow of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, of The World Business Academy and of The Findhorn Foundation, and an Honorary Member of The Club of Budapest. He’s well known for his 2 videos: The Global Brain (see below) and White Hole in Time.

He studied mathematics and theoretical physics at Cambridge University (UK) and switched to experimental psychology when his interest in the mysteries of mind deepened. Pursuing this interest, he traveled to India to study meditation and eastern philosophy, and on his return took up the first research post ever offered in Britain on the psychology of meditation. In the mid 70s he became a co-teacher of “Mind Maps” with Tony Buzan.

Russell currently leads corporate programs that focus on self-development, creativity and sustainable environmental practices. He is also the author of several books, some of which are listed below: The Brain Book, The Global Brain Awakens, The Creative Manager and The Consciousness Revolution.
